The estate totals around 80 hectares, 40 hectaresof which are covered by vineyards, with the remainder devoted to olive-groves. The estate has a very illustrious past. In Medicean times it belonged to the noble Ricci family which was also responsible for organizing the estate’s early farming and winemaking activities. In Greve, in the heart of the Chianti Classico area the Azienda Agricola Lanciola has around 14 hectares, 10 of which are devoted to specialized vineyards with optimum south-west exposure, on particularly favorable soil, at an altitude of approximately 300 meters.
